Textile-carcass conveyor belting in three families - cotton and polyester-cotton, nylon (NN) and polyester (EP) - cut to width and spliced endless by hot
Textile-carcass conveyor belting in three families - cotton and polyester-cotton, nylon (NN) and polyester (EP) - cut to width and spliced endless by hot vulcanisation, so the belt arrives ready to hang on the conveyor frame with no joint to make on site.

Cotton (CC56) and polyester-cotton (TC70) belting is the short-centre answer: light loads, low speed, ordinary temperature, no sharp edges in the feed. It is the cheapest belt per metre and it is the right one on a transfer or a small stockpile conveyor.
Nylon (NN) belting is thin and light for its strength, takes impact well and troughs cleanly, which is why it is the default on quarry conveyors: it holds the load on a three-roll idler set at speed without the belt walking, and it absorbs the drop from a crusher discharge. NN100 to NN500 covers the range, 2-10 plies.
Polyester (EP) belting uses polyester warp and nylon weft. It is the wet-site belt: strength does not fall away when the belt is damp, it does not mildew, and it resists impact better than cotton. On a washing plant or a coastal site, EP outlasts the equivalent NN belt.
A fabric belt is only as good as its joint. We supply endless where the conveyor can be built around the belt, because a hot-vulcanised endless splice carries close to full belt strength and removes the single most common failure point on a plant conveyor.
Where the frame is already erected and cannot be opened, the belt ships open-end with a stepped splice marked and a vulcanising kit matched to the cover compound. A mechanical fastener is the field fallback for a belt that has to be shortened in a hurry - it costs strength at the joint, and it is worth knowing that before the belt is ordered rather than after.
Textile-carcass belting is produced to GB/T 7984 as standard, and can be supplied to DIN 22102, JIS K 6322 or AS 1332 where the project specifies a European, Japanese or Australian standard. Flame-resistant belting is produced to GB/T 10822, HG/T 3647, HG/T 3714, HG/T 3728 and GB/T 2001.
If your specification calls for a standard not listed here, send the clause and we will quote against it rather than substitute.
The cover is the part that meets the stone, so the grade - not the carcass - sets the service life on an abrasive feed. The table below is the grading we supply to: tensile strength from 8 to 24 MPa, with abrasion loss falling and adhesion rising as the grade goes up.
For crushed granite and basalt take the 18-24 MPa abrasion-resistant cover; for recycled material carrying residual fuel, the oil-resistant cover; for clinker and sinter, the heat-resistant grade.
| Carcass | CC / TC / NN / EP fabric, 2-12 ply |
|---|---|
| Width range | 300-2800 mm |
| Cover grades | 8-24 MPa, abrasion / oil / heat resistant |
| Delivery form | Endless (vulcanised) or open end |
| Price | USD 20-35 per metre, 800 mm belt |
