Mantle and Concave / Concave and Mantle

Mantle and Concave / Concave and Mantle for cone crushers. Mn13 / Mn18 / Mn22. Supplied for mining, quarrying, cement

The matched pair, quoted together. Poured to one cavity drawing and shipped as one set, so the chamber closes evenly from the first shift instead of wearing itself into agreement over the first month.

Fits: the model, not the size

A cone liner is quoted against the machine model and, where one exists, the cavity drawing: the wall thickness at the wear band, the segment count and the clamp pattern all have to match what the bowl will accept. That covers our own single- and multi-cylinder series as well as the imported machines most often re-lined in the field. Where only a worn liner is available, the profile is measured and drawn before the pattern is made. HP series, GP series, Symons 4¼ / 5½ ft, Sandvik CH / CS, Terex Cedarapids, Kleemann MCO, McCloskey C.

Warehouse stock and loading

Photographs taken in our own warehouse: finished jaw plates in stock, packed for export, and loaded for shipment. Stock levels change week to week — ask what is on the floor before you plan a shutdown.

Why the pair is usually the cheaper way

Two liners ordered from two drawings can each be perfectly correct and still make a bad chamber: the wall thickness at the wear band, the position of the discharge gap and the profile of the last hundred millimetres all have to agree. A set removes that risk before it becomes a complaint about capacity.

It also settles the cost comparison honestly. A pair that lasts one full campaign usually costs less per ton than two single liners that each last sixty percent of it, and the change-out is one shutdown instead of two — which on a plant running a single secondary cone is often the larger number.

What ships in the set

When one half is enough

If the fixed liner still has more than roughly half its life left and its profile is unbroken, a mantle on its own is a defensible purchase. Once there is a step in the fixed side, or the two profiles no longer meet along their length, the pair is the cheaper route — the new half will wear into the old shape and the next change arrives early.

How to order

Three inputs set the quote: the machine model, the cavity profile you are running now, and the tonnage the last liner delivered. Send the model plus either the drawing number or a photograph of the worn liner with a tape across the wear band, and the quote comes back with weight, grade and lead time. If the bowl has been re-machined, send the bore measurement as well.
