Liner Plate / Side Liner / Wear Plate

Liner Plate / Side Liner / Wear Plate for impact crushers. Mn13 / Mn18. Supplied for quarrying, quoted against your crusher model or drawing.

The plates on the inside of the housing: side liners, top and bottom liners, and the grinding path at the discharge. They never touch the product stream directly, which is exactly why they are the parts that get forgotten until the frame is showing.

Price is indicative, per kilogram, and moves with the manganese grade and the weight of the casting. It is fixed on the quotation. Delivery time is production time and does not include sea freight.

Fits: the model, not the size

A blow bar or impact plate is quoted against the machine model and the rotor drawing: the bar length, the fixing pattern and the weight of each bar have to match, because a rotor that is out of balance destroys bearings long before the bars are worn. That covers the machines most often re-lined in the field, and where only a worn bar is available the profile is measured and drawn before the pattern is made. Warehouse stock and loading

Photographs taken in our own warehouse: finished jaw plates in stock, packed for export, and loaded for shipment. Stock levels change week to week — ask what is on the floor before you plan a shutdown.

They protect the frame, and they shape the product

A liner plate is the cheapest casting on the machine and it sits between the rock and the housing. Once it is through, the frame casting behind it takes the abrasion, and a frame repair costs an order of magnitude more than the liner that would have prevented it. In practice a liner plate is replaced because someone looked, not because the machine told them.

The grinding path is the exception: it is a liner by position but a working surface by function. Material leaves the rotor against it, so its profile contributes to the final gradation. A grinding path polished flat opens the product curve at the same time as it stops protecting anything.

Side liners are handed, and the corners wear first

Left and right side liners are different castings on almost every model, and the top and bottom rows usually differ too. They are ordered by position rather than by one part number for the set.

Wear concentrates in the corners, where the material swirls rather than passing straight through. A liner that looks sound in the middle can be through at the corner, so the check is a torch into the corners, not a glance at the plate.

Material and fit

Mn13 and Mn18 cover most duty; a wear-resistant steel grade is used where the plate is thin and the impact is low. Thickness is set to the housing drawing so the rotor clearance stays as designed — a liner fitted at the wrong thickness changes the gap between rotor and wall, and that gap is part of how the machine crushes.

How to order

Four inputs set the quote: the machine model, the bar or plate weight, the fixing pattern and the material grade. Send the model plus either the drawing number or a photograph of the worn part against a tape measure, and the quote comes back with weight, grade and lead time. If you are replacing one bar rather than a set, send the weights of the bars still on the rotor — a set is matched by weight, not by name.
