The side walls of the jaw chamber, above and below the jaw plates. They crush nothing, which is why they are the last thing anyone inspects — and the first thing that lets stone wear into the frame.

Price is indicative, per kilogram, and moves with the manganese grade and the weight of the casting. It is fixed on the quotation. Delivery time is production time and does not include sea freight.
Fits: the model, not the size
Every plate and casting is quoted against a crusher model and, where one exists, the drawing — so it bolts onto the existing seat instead of being fettled to fit. That covers our own PE and DC series and the imported machines most often re-lined in the field. Where only a worn part is available, the profile is measured and drawn before casting. PE series, DC series, Metso Nordberg C, Sandvik CJ / JM, Terex Pegson, Terex Finlay, Kleemann MC, McCloskey J, Komatsu BR.
Warehouse stock and loading
Photographs taken in our own warehouse: finished jaw plates in stock, packed for export, and loaded for shipment. Stock levels change week to week — ask what is on the floor before you plan a shutdown.
The cheapest part protecting the most expensive one
A cheek plate is thin, cheap and buried behind the jaw plates. Once it is through, the frame casting behind it starts taking abrasion, and a frame repair costs an order of magnitude more than the liner that would have prevented it.
They also set the chamber width
A cheek plate worn into a curve changes the width of the cavity. Stone can then pass the jaw at the edges without being crushed, which shows up as coarse material in the product and a setting that no longer holds at the sides.
- Upper and lower are different castings, and left and right are handed. Order by position, not by one number for the set.
- Bolt-on and wedge-clamped patterns are both supplied, matched to the frame.
- Normally changed with the jaw set: the chamber is already open, and a worn cheek will outlast new plates by only a few weeks.
Material
Cast in Mn13Cr2 or Mn18Cr2 where the rock is abrasive; a wear-resistant steel grade is used where the plate is thin and the impact is low. Thickness follows the frame drawing so the jaw plates still sit at the correct chamber width.
How to order
Send the crusher model and say which position you need — upper left, upper right, lower left or lower right. Positions are different castings, so the side and the level have to be right before the plate is cast.
