Swing Jaw Plate / Active Jaw Plate for jaw crushers. Mn13 / Mn18 / Mn22. Supplied for mining, quarrying, cement, quoted against your crusher model or drawing.
The moving half of the chamber: driven through the eccentric shaft and the toggle, so it carries the crushing force and the reversing load of every cycle. Supplied on its own or as a fixed + swing pair cast to the same profile.
| Name | Description | Material | Application | Delivery time | Price |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Swing Jaw Plate / Active Jaw Plate | Jaw crusher swing (active) jaw plate, straight or curved tooth profile | Mn13 / Mn18 / Mn22 | Mining, quarrying, cement | 15–20 working days | USD 1.8–2.5 / kg |
Price is indicative, per kilogram, and moves with the manganese grade and the weight of the casting. It is fixed on the quotation. Delivery time is production time and does not include sea freight.
Every plate and casting is quoted against a crusher model and, where one exists, the drawing — so it bolts onto the existing seat instead of being fettled to fit. That covers our own PE and DC series and the imported machines most often re-lined in the field. Where only a worn part is available, the profile is measured and drawn before casting. PE series, DC series, Metso Nordberg C, Sandvik CJ / JM, Terex Pegson, Terex Finlay, Kleemann MC, McCloskey J, Komatsu BR.
Photographs taken in our own warehouse: finished jaw plates in stock, packed for export, and loaded for shipment. Stock levels change week to week — ask what is on the floor before you plan a shutdown.

The swing jaw travels through an arc, so the stroke scrubs as well as squeezes. That produces a wear pattern you can read: a polished, peened band across the middle of the teeth where rock is ground between the two faces, and a sharper, chipped edge at the top where the plate is thinnest and the impact is hardest.
Once the teeth have flattened the plate has stopped gripping. Throughput drops and power draw rises long before the plate is worn through — which is why a swing plate is often replaced on performance, not on thickness.
Swing plates are cast with either a straight tooth or a curved tooth. The curved profile keeps a more even nip through the stroke and is the usual choice for hard, brittle rock; the straight profile costs less and works in softer, cleaner feed.
Whichever you run, the swing plate has to match the profile of the fixed plate. A curved swing against a straight fixed plate is the most common reason a new set underperforms: the chamber stops closing evenly along its length and the plant quietly loses capacity.
Two inputs set the price: the weight of the part and the material grade. Send the crusher model together with the drawing number, or a photograph of the worn part with a tape measure across the teeth, and the quotation comes back with weight, grade and lead time.
