The high centrifugal force and high crushing frequency produce a long effective stroke at the bottom of the crushing chamber. Run at a small closed side setting, the crusher therefore yields a finer and better-graded product than other jaw crushers in its class.

How to select a DC series European jaw crusher
The DC series high-efficiency European jaw crusher is a primary crushing machine in which the main unit and the drive motor share a single frame, which keeps the crusher compact and light and simplifies installation. Material enters the deep V-shaped chamber through the feed opening and is broken between the fixed jaw and the moving jaw. A high centrifugal force combined with a high crushing frequency produces a long effective stroke at the bottom of the chamber, and the closed side setting is changed with a double wedge. An automatic timed lubrication system is fitted as standard.
The series is used for mining and rock crushing, finished aggregates, manufactured sand, construction waste recycling, refractory materials, building materials and cement, roads and bridges and expressways. It takes hard, abrasive rock and ore as primary feed, including the hard rock that most quarry faces present.
The parameter table lists five models, DC75 to DC160. Feed openings run from 500x750 to 1300x1600 mm and the maximum feed size from 420 to 1000 mm, so the model is picked first by the largest lump in the feed. The capacity column spans 61-198 t/h at the small end and 581-1204 t/h at the top, and it is quoted against the closed side setting, which ranges from 50-150 to 150-300 mm: the tighter the setting, the lower the tonnage for the same machine. Motor power rises from 55-75 to 250 kW and the weight from 9.5 to 75 t, which matters for transport and for foundation planning. Eccentric shaft speed falls as the machine grows, from 320 to 220 r/min.
Before ordering, settle the feed material and how abrasive it is, the largest lump size, the tonnage required, the target discharge size and the reduction ratio, the site layout and the electrical supply available.
