The DVSI series high-efficiency vertical-shaft impact crusher, also known as a sand-making machine or a shaping machine, was developed by combining newer crushing research with the mining conditions found in China. It is a fourth-generation, high-performance sand-making machine.
The machine is used in sand and gravel yards, mixing plants, dry-mixed mortar, quartz sand and construction waste crushing, and it supplies quality sand and aggregate for expressways, railways, buildings, municipal works, hydroelectric dam projects and concrete mixing plants.
There is little friction between the material and the wear parts, which directly reduces the operating cost of the machine. Compared with conventional equipment of the same motor power, the manufacturer reports around 30% higher output, and the mechanical performance of the machine is stable.
The finished product is cubical, with a good particle shape and a sound grading, and the fineness modulus can be adjusted, so the machine is particularly suitable for manufactured sand and for stone shaping. A hydraulic cover-opening device makes it quick and convenient to inspect and replace the parts inside the crushing chamber.
The bearings are high-precision types, which helps keep the failure rate of the system low, and a thin-oil lubrication station is fitted to deal with bearing heating and similar problems.
The machine is light in weight and can be installed in a number of ways, and it is convenient to operate and use. Once the intended duty is clear, only minor adjustment is needed for the machine to give its full performance.
Indicative price: USD 47,300 – 130,200 — across the models in this series; the final price depends on configuration, options and delivery term.
The DVSI series is a vertical-shaft impact crusher, also called a sand-making or shaping machine. Material is fed into the rotor and thrown out at speed against the surrounding material and wear parts, so it is broken by impact rather than by squeezing. The finished product comes out cubical with a sound grading, and the fineness modulus can be adjusted, which makes the machine suitable both for manufactured sand and for stone shaping.
It is used in sand and gravel yards, concrete mixing plants, dry-mixed mortar and quartz sand, as well as for mining and rock crushing, finished aggregates, manufactured sand, construction waste recycling, refractory materials, building materials and cement, roads and bridges and expressways.
The table gives six models, DVSI75 to DVSI120, and it is worth reading the rotor columns before the others. Rotor speed falls as the machine grows, from 1740 r/min on DVSI75 to 1200 r/min on DVSI120, and rotor diameter rises from 730 to 1000 mm; those two together are what set the product curve, so a quarry chasing a finer sand usually looks at the smaller, faster rotors. Maximum feed size is 40 mm on every model except DVSI120, which takes 50 mm, so a fine jaw or a cone should normally be ahead of this machine in the flow. Capacity runs from 100-180 t/h to 450-580 t/h and motor power from 200 kW to 315 kW on twin drives. Weight runs from 9.7 to 23.1 t, which matters when the machine has to be installed on a frame or a mobile chassis.
Before ordering, settle the feed material and its size, the sand grading and fineness modulus you must meet, the tonnage, the shape requirements of the finished aggregate, and the space and power available at the installation point.
