The PFW European impact crusher is manufactured using advanced impact crushing technology. Its distinctive heavy-duty rotor design, its hammer swing system, its interchangeable wear-part system and the ease with which it can be serviced and maintained are all prominent features of the PFW series.
The machine is suitable for the primary, secondary and fine crushing of soft and medium-hard ores. With two crushing chambers it simplifies the process flow for primary and secondary crushing; with three chambers it performs well in fine and ultra-fine crushing.
This is a machine that breaks material using impact energy. The series offers strong performance, a good discharge particle shape and a wide range of applicable materials, which together help users reduce production and construction costs and operating input.
The PFW machine uses a heavy-duty rotor design and a distinctive blow bar fixing arrangement, which give it high processing capacity.
A spring safety device is fitted behind the impact plates. If hard foreign objects enter the crushing chamber, the front and rear impact frames retract and the hard material is discharged from the machine.
Indicative price: USD 42,800 – 137,100 — across the models in this series; the final price depends on configuration, options and delivery term.
The PFW European impact crusher breaks material with impact energy. It uses a heavy-duty rotor design and a distinctive arrangement for fixing the blow bars, and it works with an interchangeable wear-part system that is meant to be serviced easily. The series is offered in two and three chamber versions - with two chambers it simplifies the flow for primary and secondary crushing, and with three it works in fine and ultra-fine duties.
Its applications are mining and rock crushing, finished aggregates, manufactured sand, construction waste recycling, refractory materials, building materials and cement, roads and bridges and expressways. It suits soft and medium-hard ore and produces a good discharge shape across a wide range of materials.
The published table is short, with three models, and one feature of it deserves attention before any comparison. The capacity column carries no unit in the heading, so treat the entries as tonnages only after confirming the unit with the manufacturer. Read the rotor columns next, because they explain the sizing: rotor diameter and length run from 1280 x 1340 mm on PFW-1313 to 1600 x 1800 mm on PFW-1618, and the maximum feed size rises with them, from 200 to 300 and then 350 mm. Capacity follows the rotor, from 160-200 t/h to 440-600 t/h. Power is 132-200 kW on PFW-1313, 280-315 kW on PFW-1515 and 220 x 2 kW on the twin-drive PFW-1618, and weight runs from 19.8 to 40.2 t. The dimension column gives the frame footprint for layout work.
Before ordering, settle the feed material and its hardness and largest lump, the products and gradings needed, the tonnage, whether a two or three chamber machine is required, the site layout and the power supply.
