Capacity is quoted for continuous feeding with the trough at the working inclination; it depends on the bulk density and the fines content of the material.
The ZSW vibrating feeder stands in front of the primary crusher. In a crushing line it draws material from the hopper, feeds the crusher continuously and evenly, and screens the fines out on the way, so the crusher is given a steady load of material it can actually break instead of a surge mixed with dirt. Where dust has to be contained, a closed body can be supplied.
The machine is built from the feeding trough, the vibration exciter, the spring support and the transmission. The exciter carries two eccentric shafts, main and driven, joined by a gear pair. The motor drives the main shaft through V-belts, the gear pair turns the driven shaft the opposite way at the same speed, and the trough vibrates along the resulting line of force. That is what moves the material forward as a continuous stream.
Six models are published, ZSW3896 to ZSW6021. Hopper openings run from 3800x960 mm to 6000x2100 mm, capacity from 100-160 t/h to 800-1000 t/h, motor power from 11 to 45 kW and weight from 4.3 to 15 t. Eccentric shaft speed stays within 500-800 r/min across the range, and maximum feed size rises from 500 mm to 1200 mm.
Size it from the crusher: the feed opening sets the largest lump the feeder has to pass, and the crusher capacity sets the tonnage. Then check the hopper volume against the truck or loader that charges it, and the height available under the bin.
